Our Mission We are committed to improving the lives of animals, one at a time ... whether by providing a safe and loving foster home, or thoughtful relocation via adoption, or simply by acting as a community-based resource for adoption networking, spay/neuter, and medical care for animals in need. As resources and space permit, or as situations dictate, we pursue the most effective and the most compassionate courses of action. We provide complete veterinary/medical attention as well as food and necessary care supplies for all animals placed into Morning Starr foster homes. Our Passion Our passion is for All animals to experience that humans can be kind and loving friends. Our Commitment We especially take seriously, a responsibility to all the animals in our community, current and future. To that end, we pursue an ongoing dialogue within the community, focusing on the importance of each person taking personal responsibility to foster an active spay/neuter posture within their own household. Our Goals We are a "No-Kill" Sanctuary with limited resources. Therefore, our extension of services rendered depends entirely upon the monetary supply and open foster homes available to us at any given time. Our immediate goals are to expand the number of foster homes in the community and to broaden our educational programs in order to better equip the public in becoming the most responsible pet guardians they can be. We are currently formulating low cost community-friendly spay/neuter programs in order to reduce unwanted pet births. We believe with conviction that no animal should be born simply to die.
